Bathroom Remodel Reveal!

I wrote about this remodeling project a couple months ago, but now it's time for the reveal!

This project is located in Mountain, Wi and is the smallest bathroom I've ever created a new design for. I was a bit amazed that they fit a toilet, a shower and even a sink in here. Only one person fits in here at a time, and that alone leaves for some challenges when considering how we're going to update this thing. Doing a cottage remodel of any sort can be a tricky thing because most of the time, we're talking about VERY small spaces.

So, let's cut right to it!

The original "Before" pic - everything was brown!

I had painted a standard vanity cabinet a light mint color, to create a pop of color against the paneling. However, we needed to get rid of the carpeting, add tile, rip out the old shower, and update the toilet.

And the reveal!

I realize now, that I should have shut the toilet seat cover, sorry about that! But I'm happy to say the bathroom is so more user friendly now. No more sliding into the shower, you just walk in! Imagine that! Even the kids like to use the shower, which is a win!

Quick Design Tip:

Another easy thing to implement and modernize your bathroom, is to replace the light shades in a standard factory fixture. Light fixtures can easily cost $200-$400, but you can "upgrade" them for less.

Now I'm moving on to the next interior design project! I'm working with a family who has a new house and needs help with their walls, finding art, and creating a warm environment.
